Normal Community High School Student’s Testimony | God Is Faithful, ALWAYS

I met this high school student at one of my past senior sessions.  She came along with her friend Savannah to join in on the fun.  I knew there was something special about her from the moment I met her.  I later learned about her story of surviving a Brain Tumor and asked her if she would share it here on my blog.  So here, my friends, is Brooklyn.  She is now a senior at Normal Community High School.  Enjoy!

This video was made just about 2 years ago. Now I am in my last semester of senior year and will be graduating in a couple of months. As I continue to figure out college life and what the future holds for me, I find myself less fearful than I used to be. I am no longer consumed with doubt and fear of what will happen. What if this happens? What if this goes wrong? I mean obviously I still wonder that and have some doubts, who doesn’t? But I don’t worry about it as much anymore because I have experienced first hand that no matter how crazy life gets or what unexpected circumstance comes about, God is always there. His hand is on every little detail of our lives, and regardless of how weak or helpless we feel, He is here and He is strong and He can do anything. I know that’s a huge cliche and you’ve probably heard that a lot, but I promise it’s true. Take it from the 15 year old in me who had never broken a bone or had any sort of surgery before or even had braces, but was told she needed brain surgery. Life is not always as it seems and things don’t always happen the way we think they should, but God is faithful. He always has been and He always will be.
