“I am completely humbled and honored to have been asked to be a guest blogger for Karen’s blog! I first met Karen Stauffer at the church I previously attended. Her talents as a photographer were immediately apparent to me, thus the reason my husband, Shane, and I chose her to do our business headshots in early 2015. We were not disappointed and highly recommend her for business needs (in addition to the plethora of family and wedding portraits she already does so well!).
I am an independent travel agent for Magical Moments Vacations. The best part: my services to plan vacations are at NO COST to my clients. No hidden fees. Ever. I am as passionate about planning vacations as Karen is about capturing the perfect shots! I am known around here as the “Disney Lady” because 90% of the trips I book involve Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, and the rest of the Disney travel destinations. However, on occasion, I also help with planning and booking other cruise lines, and all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean.
In 2015, I was able to help plan several honeymoons. I love working with brides (and grooms). I help take the stress of coordinating their guest accommodations off of their shoulders. I especially love destination weddings because I make sure the group all get to where they are going to keep the bride and groom calm. Ha! Honeymoon destinations are endless, from local weekend getaways to overseas to everything in between.
As your honeymoon planner, I help ensure that you pick the right destination for your budget and personality and ensure that you have the documentation you need, are aware of any “hidden” costs at the destination that you may not have planned for, and that you understand everything you need to know for your trip. Wouldn’t it be awful if you booked a Weddingmoon at Sandals Negril and found out AFTER you arrived that the little flower girl that came all the way from the USA wasn’t allowed on the property because it’s an adults-only resort?! Whoa! I do all of this while you are focusing your planning on your WEDDING instead!

“Sheila helped my husband and I plan our honeymoon, twice and a trip to Cabo for a family wedding. Our honeymoon plans changed multiple times and Sheila rolled with every single one of our changes. Our final choice was a Carnival cruise to Mexico and Grand Cayman Islands. 4 days before we were set to sail, Carnival informed Sheila that our reservation had been cancelled due to a miscommunication. Sheila worked tirelessly to get my husband and I back on that ship. We ended getting back on the ship and were able to have the time of our lives, all thanks to Sheila!!
In the midst of all this scheduling she also scheduled a 4 night 5 day trip to Cabo San Lucas for Derek’s sister’s wedding. She is so fantastic to work with and my husband and I will never book a vacation with anyone else!!!”
