Lexington, IL Wedding, Lexington Community Center Reception

Candance started her day at Ulta in Bloomington, IL where she had her wedding day makeup done.  They did a fantastic job.  We then headed to Lexington where we spent the remainder of the day.

Trenton & Candance’s wedding took place in a nice and cozy little church in Lexington, IL.  It was a beautiful fall day.  Lots of fall colored leaves to decorate the photos for us.   When I met with Trenton & his sister to discuss the timeline of the day, they mentioned how they would love to surprise the bride with horses to take photos with.  She use to be a horse trainer and is so passionate about horses.  Seemed like a perfect idea!  I drove to Lexington and began to ask around if anyone knew of horses in the area.  I found a place that was happy to help us!  We took her there after the ceremony.  She LOVED it.

Trenton’s sister, Stacey, battled cancer not long before the wedding.  She always said she wanted to be the one to cut his pony tail off.  So on his wedding day he had a hair stylist come to give him a haircut but let his sister cut it first.  I think she might have enjoyed that a LITTLE too much. lol  He looked like a new man when he was all done.

Trenton’s eyes filled with tears as he saw how beautiful his bride was as she walked in.  His love for her was so apparent.

Their wedding reception took place at the Lexington Community Center.  This is a great venue for wedding receptions.  They had it decorated in a vintage theme.

I am so blessed to have been a part of their wedding day.
