Lexington, IL Country Wedding, Lexington Community Center reception

This was one of my weddings from awhile back.  I was not blogging at that time but still wanted to share this wedding with you guys.

The wedding took place on family property.  It was outdoors and we were so nervous it was going to rain on us that day.  We got done with the ceremony, I took family formal pictures then took some bridal portraits of the bride and groom.  You can tell in the images below that it was a huge storm moving in.  Just as I got in my car to head to the reception the bottom fell out.  It rained sooo hard, had lightening and all.  Talk about perfect timing!!

The reception took place at the Lexington Community Center.  The weather blew over so we eventually got to head back out for some more bridal shots.  One of my favorite things is to sneak the bride and groom out for a few night shots.
