Holiday Inn recently did a major $3,500,000 renovation and the results are just stunning. It is one of the nicest hotels in our area. Holiday Inn is located across the street from Central Illinois Regional Airport and right next door to Baxter’s. It is a great venue for wedding receptions!

I know you are curious about Holiday Inn’s $3,500,000 renovation, therefore I wanted to make a moment to share some information with you!

Let’s start with the guest rooms. Each room will have new paint and wallpaper. The flooring will be a mixture of new carpet and wood plank. The entire room will have new lighting, artwork and mirrors. New window treatments include Roman shades and blackout drapes. The upholstered furniture will be replaces as well as the ergonomic desk chair

Guest bathrooms will have lighter, brighter crisp look with custom vanities and white solid surface counter top. Light fixtures and mirrors will be replaces as well. The wood plank flooring will continue into the bathroom as well.

Common areas will be enhanced with a larger sundry shop, multiple seating areas in the lobby will offer connection ports. The lobby will also include two community tables which are perfect for meeting with associates while working on laptops. We will also have a designated media center and e-bar.
Our 4000 square feet of meeting space was also refreshed. We changed the carpeting, lighting and wall covering. The prefunction area was refreshed with new carpet and soft seating. Of course, new state of the art A/V equipment was added.
