Pentecostal Wedding | Veronica & Brendan

Pentecostal Wedding Day | Veronica & Brendan

Veronica & Brendan’s vintage pentecostal wedding day was just perfect. The church was decorated sooo cute. The bride’s dad made lamp posts that really worked and lined the isle with them. It really made a bold statement in the room. I just loved it! It was really unique. Veronica had the best wedding decorating ideas.  The lobby area was decorated with old things such as a vintage typewriter, vintage suitcases & vintage hankies for “happy tears”.  You could tell there was so much time, thought and love that went into the details of their wedding day.

We started the day off at Apostolic Pentecostal Church located in Bloomington, IL with everyone getting ready there.  We later blindfolded the groom & took him to Ewing Manor where we did their bridal portraits and first look photos.  Just before she tapped him on the shoulder for him to turn and see her first time,  a few bees started flying around them.  One of them yelled “BEES” and it was sudden chaos.  It was hilarious watching them dance around to get away from the bees and not see each other accidentally.  And as I caught a glimpse of the bridal party at a distance watching and hysterically laughing it made me laugh harder.

Just before the ceremony started the bride and her dad prayed together. What a precious moment. I know that is something they will never forget. There was so much love between Veronica and her parents. You could tell by the look in their eyes how proud they are of their daughter.

Veronica looked so beautiful that day. She just glowed as she walked down the isle and her groom just lit up as he watched her walk down the isle.  As tears filled their eyes they could finally see their forever, that moment they have been waiting for.

Brendan surprised Veronica by singing to her during the ceremony.  I think there was alot of tissues being used at that time.  He sang a song called “I DO” that was written by Matthew West.  He did a fantastic job singing it.  Both Veronica & Brendan have such a calling on their lives.  I look forward to seeing where God leads them in their journey as husband and wife.  I know they have great things in store for them!

The song in this video is Matthew West “I Do” and is used with permission.
